  3. I've never had a weight problem in my 60 years of life. This is so fascinating that I watched it in it's entirety. I really wish I could get my diabetic overweight family members to take this Doctors advice and stop listening to their stupid doctor that tells them they need to eat cookies, candy and carbs to keep their blood sugar from crashing.

  5. Looking in from England, when I found Keto I cut out the sugar and baked foods (bread, biscuits and scones) I didn’t realise how addicted I was until I found myself dreaming about scones and ginger snaps – it took weeks to get over the addiction and I now realise I can’t ever eat them again just as an alcoholic can’t have one whiskey.j

  6. I'm not sure why this comment doesn't show up like other comments.

1:30 In certain populations? Please don't do that. If an assumption doesn't apply to everyone, what good is it to a doctor or consumer?

8:44 It's not impossible to be heavy and healthy. You should know that. Don't be such a viper-oil sales associate.

53:00 I'm curious as to why you felt it necessary to point out that we are talking about a subset of the population when that subset could include everyone we know and interact with. Carbs are unhealthy for everyone, whether they make them fat or not.

  7. I've got kids. My freezer is full of ice cream, there is oj in the fridge. The shelf is full of nutella, sprinkles, cookies and bread. Their dinner is mostly pasta. I have no problem at all to not put any of it in my face.

  8. I'm not doing so well. I'm still trying to figure out what to do. Being keto gone carnivore since Feb 2019. Glucose readings still high. Some think is too much protein. Total Carbs been under 30, mostly under 20. Eating too much still? Its hard to not eat. And yes, I'm eating even when I don't feel hungry. I don't know what to do with myself. I seem to eat because I'm used to eating.
I think I use eating too put off doing other things I know I need to do around the house.
UPDATE: 10 Jul 2020 Been doing better. Not as hungry as I was. Able to do 18, 20 and occasionally 36 hour fasting. Craving are down. Still not losing weight but I think I'll get there. Bloodwork is looking great though.

  9. I collapsed after a long haul flight from dehydration in hospital they over hydrated me with a drip and then putting a jug of water on my dish table and I was always a big drinker of water. So i had to spend 3 days on cold turkey, they took away my jug of water. I didn't realise I was overdosed because most of the water had been mainlined so I understand ( LCHF for 3 months have lost most of the weight that I had slowly put on over the last 50 years, my mother was a why didn't you come first mother so I get the co-relation completely!!!)

  10. Although I am on a keto diet, I find it funny he brings up carbs since 1950s and 60s. Humans have always consumed alot of carbs. What has changed?

  12. This is the most amazing information and presentation I have ever seen on carbohydrates and addiction. Every single person who struggles with weight gain and has ridden the diet roller coaster, must see this.
